Applied Kinesiology(AK)
A comprehensive approach assessing muscular function to identify imbalances and facilitate healing.

Lebowitz Technique
Used with Applied Kinesiology and Neuro-Emotional Technique to provide detailed insights into potential nutritional imbalances affecting the neuromuscular system.

Erchonia Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
Promotes tissue healing and reduces pain without invasive procedures. LLLT can shorten recovery time from injury or surgery and improve mitochondrial function.

Frequency Specific Micro-Current (FSM)
Targets specific areas to alleviate discomfort and enhance recovery. FSM can reduce pain from muscular strain and alleviate symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

SCENAR RITM

SCENAR stands for Self Controled Electro Neuro Adaptive Regulation. This is typically a short treatment performed during a normal adjustment visit for pain relief. It is a form of TENS therapy, it quickly reduces pain in most cases and can aid in injury recovery.

Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET)
NET has ben shown to reduce low back pain and decreases sympathetic response to stressors. NET is a relaxing technique that uses muscular response to identify nervous system stressors. NET was also featured in season 15 of Grey’s Anatomy.

Webster Technique
Primarily used to help pregnant mothers with discomfort and to support pelvic balance, potentially aiding optimal fetal positioning.

Testing and Treatment Options

What is functional lab testing?

The use of functional labs is similar to conventional to blood testing measures, but newer more up to date ranges may be applied to an individuals health condition. Labs are typically ordered through LabCorp and reviewed with the patient in a dedicated appointment.

A normal blood Vitamin D test may be considered “in range” at 30-50 ng/mL. However, from a functional standpoint, particularly in patients dealing with autoimmune conditions, optimal health often calls for maintaining Vitamin D levels in the range of 50-80 ng/mL. This distinction highlights the importance of individualized care in a wholistic chiropractic practice, where understanding the functional range of nutrients can significantly enhance patient outcomes. By focusing on these functional metrics, intervention may be tailored on a more individual basis.

What is Applied Kinesiology?

A detailed computer-generated illustration of neurons with glowing axons and dendrites connected in a neural network, with bright orange and blue lights representing electrical activity.

Applied Kinesiology, or AK for short, is a method in which a practitioner uses the body’s muscular response to determine areas of stress being carried by the body. It is used in conjunction with clinical knowledge, lab testing and patient health history.

Why Use Nutritional Supplements?

In an ideal world, our food and environment would supply all necessary nutritional needs for sustaining life. Unfortunately, the average American diet consists of too much refined sugar, “empty carbs”, and foods that were grown with a significant amount of synthetic chemicals. In instances of nutritional deficiency or certain chronic health conditions it may be necessary to supplement the diet with additional nutrients.
